About

A pumpkaboo born and raised in the quaint Willowgrove Village. He lives a generally sheltered life under his mother's care.

He's a typically cheerful and simple-minded little mon, and can occasionally run his mouth a little too much. He dislikes confrontation and is a little pushover sometimes.

Relationship

• Vanilla the Gourgeist

  His biological mother, whom he loves dearly.

• Agnes the Froslass

  He view her as his auntie, despite no blood relation. Ocassionally, he will stay with her when his mum is busy.

• Pepper the Litwick

  One of Cinnamon's best friend. Usually, Cinnamon has to drag them out for an adventure, much to Pepper's dismay. They are usually seen together up, alongside Chihiro.

• Chihiro the Cherrim

  Another best friend and neighbour. He sometimes struggle to keep up with her enegertic self. He also has a little teen crush on her.

Moveset and Abilities

Cinnamon prefers to keep distance and relies mostly on projectile, given their lack of appendages for close-quarter combat. With that said, he is fairly tricky with his projectile, typical shooting them in a odd curvature or somewhat unpredictable trajectory, owing to his ghostly nature.

He would also frequently utilise his shadow for attacks and defense. His shadow skills are good enough to outspeed his opponent's move... as long as he can think as fast. His strategy usually involves getting his opponent in range of his shadow.

Plant specialty: Pumpkin

He fires pumpkin leaves like shurikens. Otherwise, there's nothing to notable about their projectiles.

Ability: Pickup

This ability allows Cinnamon to recover the used item from their opponent, as long as it is not destroyed.

The ability also heighten Cinnamon's awareness to items in the field. It also slightly increases its ghostly telekinesis ability, which allow levitation of lighter mons.

Notable moves

• Razor Leaf: Due to its ghostly nature, he is able to curve the leaf in an unnatural trajectory, making it somewhat harder to predict.
• Shadow Sneak: Cinnamon attacks by controlling his 'shadow'. He must make contact with a surface for this to work. On command, the shadow rushes towards the opponent for a jab..

Author's Comment

it is no surprise that the pumpkaboo line is my favourite pokemon. In fact, early doodles more of less involves pumpkaboos. They are just goofy little mons. They are my comfort mon to doodle and probably will be that way for a long, long time.

i portray Cinnamon as that naive kid who haven't seen the world yet. Understandable as he has basically live their life in the village. i see his response to things are usually out of ignorance rather than malice. Due to his simple-mindedness, he is a little guillible and doesn't have the best reasoning skills.

On the flip side, He is also that friend that will stand by you and is a lot of fun to hang around with his infectious joy. In a way, i liken him as that one friend that you can just meld with from the get-go.

At the end of the day, i just want Cinnamon to be the normal guy, at least as normal as one can be in the world of Pokemon anyways.
