2023 Halloween Doodle

Following the 2020's doodle here, i decided to go all in with the Touhou costumes, so now Cinnamon and Pepper get one too.

there isn't much logic in the costume choices. Chihiro's is obviously as Lily (from Touhou 7) is related to Spring. To contrast Chihiro's costume, i wanted something from the previous game, Touhou 6. Cinnamon get Remilia's as he is somewhat bat-like, while Pepper gets Patchouli's as they are somewhat reserved and a bookworm.

in-universe, clothes are considered non-essential items because pokemon don't need to wear clothes. The general public agrees that clothes impede movement and somewhat restrictive.

Typically, they are worn purely for aesthetics reasons or to display some kind of social status; some are more for pragmatic reasons, such as dealing with hazardous environment or extreme weather conditions; some are for occasions, like weddings or parties; some are organisational, like a uniform.
