Every time i see Spheal, i will always be reminded of the spinning seal video. So, i wanted to convey that sense of whimsical peace with this one. It turns out that this pose is basically what happens in New Pokemon Snap for Nintendo Switch. i realised this when i looked at gameplay footage of it recently. So, i can't claim originality there.
i got lazy with the water because i don't want to do water reflection and refraction.
